LONG BEACH, Miss. (WLOX) — Tiny Tides Playroom is now open in Long Beach, an indoor, air-conditioned play place designed for kids eight and under.
The new business on Beatline Road includes dress-up areas, jungle gyms and a ball pit for toddlers two and under.
Owner Caitlyn Dawsey, a mom of two with a third on the way, said she created Tiny Tides so families would have a safe, comfortable place for their children to play out of the heat.
“We did this to provide for a place for Long Beach that would allow kids to come play. That’s what we did it for. We know it’s hot as all get out outside, and like I said, our number one driving goal was to do this was to get an AC, and that’s pretty much all we want. It’s just kids to come feel safe, comfortable, no heat stroke and come have fun,” Dawsey said.
Residents and local businesses were invited to stop by, meet the family behind the business, and check out the new space.
