Northbound Alameda Street in Wilmington will be temporarily closed between O Street and Sepulveda Boulevard for emergency repairs after a truck struck part of the railroad overpass.

– All northbound lanes on Alameda St. from O St. to Sepulveda Blvd. will be closed until repairs are completed and the bridge is determined to be safe.

– Southbound Alameda Street will remain fully open.

– Barricades and posted detours will be in place.

This closure will primarily affect truck traffic. Our office worked with the appropriate agencies to establish detours directing trucks east, rather than through Wilmington neighborhoods. Find the map below and follow all posted detours.
