BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A man identified as 32-year-old Gustavo Santiago Pantoja died after crashing his car into a power pole south of Arvin on August 14.
The Kern County coroner said that at around 10:40 a.m., Pantoja was driving a car by himself when he struck a power pole in the 4000 block of Sandrini Road. He died at the scene.
California Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
