Ohana Superette, the popular poke shop from the team behind Bodega Park, is back in a new permanent home after pausing its run at sandwich shop Black Hogg in 2020. The warm wood-clad dining room off Sunset Boulevard has quickly become a Silver Lake power lunch situation, with quick service and ahi tuna–laden bowls starting at just under $20. As long as you can find parking (which is not too bad mid-day), grabbing a bowl here will likely take less than 20 minutes and beat any sad desk lunch.
Loosely scheduled creatives leaving their house for the first time that day while working from home, as well as parents en route to picking up their kids from school.
Ohana Superette’s drink options are pretty limited, but Bodega Park is right next door; drop by before or after grabbing poke for a nurungji latte or espresso tonic.
