This holiday season, Sacramento Ballet is throwing the doors of the Nutcracker wide open. More than 250 young dancers are gearing up to audition this weekend for a shot at the region’s largest production of its kind, while a new partnership with Access Dance is bringing the joy of performing to children with disabilities, and a first-ever sensory-friendly Nutcracker performance is in the works this December. It’s a Sacramento holiday tradition getting bigger and more welcoming than ever.
