Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey to bring ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ to Golden 1 Center
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey is bringing “The Greatest Show On Earth” back to Sacramento this September, with four days of performances at the Golden 1 Center.
The reimagined circus will run from Sept. 17-20, featuring high-flying trapeze artists, acrobats, bicycle performers and other acts in a two-hour show designed for families.
Among the featured acts is the Double Wheel of Destiny, with performers leaping and jumping rope on massive moving wheels high above the arena floor. The show also includes a high-speed bicycle troupe, Mongolian acrobats and a Latin dance group combining salsa-style movement with acrobatics.
The production features more than 10 genres of music, along with dynamic lighting and large-scale visuals. Families can also take part in an interactive pre-show featuring music, movement and audience participation.
Performances are scheduled for
7 p.m. Sept. 17 7 p.m. Sept. 18 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sept. 19Noon and 4 p.m. on Sept. 20.
Golden 1 Center is located at 500 David J Stern Walk in Sacramento.
Opening night tickets are being offered at 50% off. Ringling Bros. is also offering $15 tickets for children ages 2-12 with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or the Golden 1 Center box office.
