One person is dead and another hurt after a crash Tuesday.
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District says the crash happened near El Camino Avenue and Verna Way.
Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle had hit a power pole and was on fire. Crews put out the fire and provided medical attention to the occupants.
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District says one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Fire officials say California Highway Patrol is investigating.
