Disturbance involving weapon prompts police standoff in Sacramento’s Oak Park
SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
There is police activity at an Oak Park home on Tuesday evening, video from LiveCopter 3 shows.
The Sacramento Police Department said officers responded after 6:15 p.m. to a disturbance involving a weapon in the 3500 block of 44th Street.
LiveCopter 3 video shows two armored vehicles arrived at the scene.
Police said crisis negotiators and SWAT are on scene to get the suspect to peacefully surrender. Police said officers believe there’s additional people in the house, but it does not appear to be a hostage situation.
