Michigan – In the race for Congress District 9, candidates in the Nov 3, 2026 election are: Democrat Ray Pooley, Incumbent Republican Lisa McClain, Libertarian Kevin Vayko, US Taxpayers Party candidate John Vlahos, Green Party candidate Destiny Clayton, and Working Class Party candidate Jim Walkowicz.
The position has a two-year term
The 9th Congressional District includes all of Huron, Lapeer, St. Clair, and Sanilac counties, along with portions of Macomb, Oakland, and Tuscola counties. In Oakland County, Michigan’s 9th Congressional District covers the Townships of Addison, Brandon, Groveland, Highland, Holly, Independence, Milford, Oakland, Orion, Oxford, Rose, and Springfield.
