LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Las Vegas man was taken into custody this month for a 2008 homicide case out of San Francisco, according to authorities.
The victim was shot and killed in the 500 block of Fulton Street back in April 2008, the San Francisco Police Department said in a news release.
The San Francisco Chronicle identified the victim as Jason Mosely, saying he was killed a day before he was set to marry his pregnant fiancée.
Cold case detectives eventually took over the investigation from the homicide detail and identified Derreyl Goode, 40, as a suspect.
SFPD determined Goode was living in Las Vegas and got a warrant for his arrest. Investigators located him in Los Angeles on Aug. 17 and booked him on the warrant for homicide.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
