BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County Employers Training Resource is highlighting events aimed at connecting the community with local job opportunities.
Marketing and Promotions Coordinator Marco Paredes joined Eyewitness News Morning to share more details.
Paredes says ETR will be hosting an information session for their Transformative Climate Communities on Thursday, August 27, at the America’s Job Center at 1600 East Belle Terrace.
The event will be happening from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The program is only available for people living in certain zip codes, those interested can check their eligibility at bakersfieldtcc.us.
Parades says Employers Training Resource is also hosting a Healthcare Job Fair on September 15 at the Bakersfield Marriott on Truxtun Avenue.
The event is happening from 9 a.m. to noon and will feature top healthcare employers in Kern County.

Paredes also highlighted a hiring event with Cazador Staffing.
The company is hiring barbacks and supervisor for the Kern County Fair.
The event is happening on Wednesday, September 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the ETR Recruitment Center at 1215 Olive Drive.
