4 people, including infant, hospitalized after van crashes into tree in Arden-Arcade
SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
Four people, including one infant, were sent to the hospital after a van crashed into a tree in the Arden-Arcade area on Wednesday, according to officials.
Sacramento Metro Fire said crews responded to a reported crash in the 3000 block of Auburn Boulevard. When crews arrived, they found a van had collided with a tree.
People inside the van, three adults and a baby, were trapped and required extrication by firefighters, officials said. All four people were taken to the hospital including one man who was sent while CPR was in progress.
The conditions of those involved was unknown.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
