FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A man accused of trying to burglarize a Fresno business was arrested early Wednesday after police said he was spotted wearing a ski mask on the roof.
Fresno police officers arrived at a business near East Shields Avenue and North Bond Street around 3 in the morning on Wednesday after a security company monitoring live surveillance reported seeing a man on the roof.
Police used a Drone as a First Responder unit, which officers say confirmed the man was still on the roof wearing a ski mask and gloves.
The suspect, identified as 28 year old Gustavo Garcia was seen running away and climbing down from the building.
Police said Garcia tried to run from officers but was then taken into custody.
Garcia was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, resisting or delaying an officer and committing a felony while out on bond.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
