With an extreme heat stretch forecast for Los Angeles, M Café is highlighting plant-forward dishes and no-cook meal options.

The restaurant is promoting its house-made sauces, including a Spicy Taiwanese Meatless Ragu, that customers can take home and pair with cold noodles, chilled rice, vegetables, tofu or tempeh. It also features Okonomi Bentos and other dishes made with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients when available, including items grown within about 60 miles of the restaurant.

Beginning this week, M Café is offering a Vegan Tonkotsu Style Ramen as a Friday special. Diners can add the restaurant’s House-Made Chili Bomb for extra heat.

The options are aimed at customers looking to eat without turning on the stove during the hot weather.
