More than 1,500 customers were without power Thursday, Aug. 27, after outages in south Orange County.
Parts of Dana Point, South Capistrano Beach and South Laguna lost power around 11:30 a.m., impacting 1,567 households and businesses, according to a San Diego Gas & Electric outage map.
The utility estimated power would be restored by 11 p.m.
SDGE officials didn’t immediately specify the cause of the outage.
