Grant Pacers return 17 starters after D-1 semifinal run
SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
The Grant Pacers are entering the season with high expectations after finishing 7-5 last year and advancing to the Division I semifinals.
The team is stacked this year, returning 17 starters and featuring elite Division I talent across the field.
Co-head coach Carl Reed has led Grant to three section and NorCal crowns, as well as a CIF state championship in recent years, pushing the Pacers back into the powerhouse conversation.

Koby “Cheese” Shabazz (Senior, WR): One of the top receivers in Sacramento and verbally committed to Sacramento StateRahzario “Zo” Edwards (Senior, TE): A big-time tight end who stands at 6-foot-6 and has Power 4 conference offers and is verbally committed to the Cal Bears.Julian “JuJu” Bruno (Senior, LB): The defensive anchor with over 20 Division I scholarship offers.
