10 Mile Road
Over the Rouge River east of Middlebelt Road in Farmington Hills. Replace culvert, asphalt paving in the vicinity of the culvert, removal of boardwalk, sidewalk improvements, new signage and pavement markings. Detour is Middlebelt Road to 11 Mile Road to Inkster Road back to 10 Mile Road and vice versa. Projected completion in October.
12 Mile Road
East of Orchard Lake Road to Autumn Ridge in Farmington Hills. Remove existing pavement, adding asphalt paving, reconstruction of select sidestreet approaches, ADA-compliant crosswalks, traffic signal modernization at the 12 Mile/Middlebelt intersection and upgrading SMART bus stops. One lane is maintained in each direction on 12 Mile Road for business and residential access. Projected completion in Mid-September.
12 Mile Road
From Novi Road to Farmington Road in Farmington Hills and Novi. PHASE 1 – Drake Road to Farmington Road and Novi Road to Haggerty Road to remove existing pavement, adding asphalt paving, concrete patching on 12 Mile west of M-5 to Novi Road, ADAcompliant crosswalks/pedestrian signals, SMART bus stop upgrades and repairs to curbs and gutters. One lane maintained in each direction on 12 Mile Road for business and residential access. Projected completion in late Fall.
Chubb Road
Road realignment and gravel road paving by a private developer on Chubb Road. Road closed north of 8 Mile to 9 Mile in Lyon Township. Detour is 8 Mile Road to Currie Road to 9 Mile Road to Chubb Road and vice versa. Projected completion is Nov. 7.
Clintonville Road
A pipeline management company, on behalf of Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office will conduct sanitary sewer work on Clintonville Road. Road closure is just north of Walton Blvd. in Waterford Township. Detour is Walton Blvd. to Sashabaw Road to Maybee Road, back to Clintonville Road and vice versa. Project dates are 10 p.m. Aug. 31 through 6 a.m. Sept. 1.
Dixboro Road
Between 9 Mile Road and 10 Mile Road in South Lyon and Green Oak Township. A private developer will pave a section of the gravel road, from 10 Mile Road to Londonderry Drive. The road is closed with residential access on Dixboro Road. Detour is 10 Mile Road to Rushton Road to 9 Mile Road, back to Dixboro Road. Projected completion is Aug. 28.
Emergency road and bridge closure
Due to a deteriorating culvert on Rosell Road over Buckhorn Creek in Rose Township. Residential access east and west of the road closure. Detour is Oakhurst Road to Parker Road to Joel Road and back to Oakhurst and vice versa. Projected completion TBD.
Fagan Road
Over the Swartz Creek tributary between Grange Hall Road and Lahring Road in Holly Township, just north of Shields Road. Residential access on both sides of the closure. Road closure due to a deteriorating culvert. Replacement plans will be announced in 2027. Detour is Quick Road to North Holly Road to Lahring Road, back to Fagan Road and vice versa. Projected completion in 2027.
Greenfield Road
North of Lincoln to 12 Mile Road in Berkley, Oak Park and Southfield to remove existing pavement, asphalt paving, reconstructing select sidestreet approaches, ADA-compliant crosswalks, curb/gutter repairs, upgrading SMART bus stops and modernizing traffic signals on Greenfield Road at the Kroger entrance, 11 Mile Road and Catalpa. One lane open in each direction on Greenfield Road for business access. Projected completion is Mid-September.
9 Mile Road
Gravel road paving by a private developer on 9 Mile Road in Lyon Township. Road closed east of Addison Boulevard to Briar Meadow Drive. Residential access maintained within the closure. Detour is Griswold Road to 10 Mile Road to Currie Road back to 9 Mile Road and vice versa. Projected completion is late September.
Novi Road
Between 8 Mile Road and 9 Mile Road to remove existing pavement, asphalt paving, adding continuous center left turn lane, adding two NB lanes and one SB lane from the Rouge River/Allen Drive to 9 Mile, drainage improvements, reconstructing side-street/driveway approaches and ADA-compliant crosswalks. Northbound Novi Road closed; southbound Novi Road remains open for residential and business access. Northbound Novi Road detour is 8 Mile Road to Beck Road to 10 Mile Road back to Novi Road. Projected completion is late Summer.
Pontiac Trail/Lafayette Street
9 Mile Road to the CSX tracks, north of 10 Mile Road in Lyon Township and South Lyon for road reconstruction, asphalt paving, drainage improvements, traffic signal upgrades, extending the SB right turn lane on 9 Mile from Princeton, adding an EB right-turn lane on 9 Mile at Pontiac Trail and ADA-compliant crosswalks. Northbound Pontiac Trail/Lafayette Street closed to traffic; southbound remains mostly open. On-street parking is prohibited. Business and sidewalk access maintained. Northbound detour is 9 Mile Road to Griswold Road to 10 Mile Road to Martindale Road to 11 Mile Road back to Pontiac Trail. There will be additional road closures; dates and detours will be announced. Projected completion is mid-November.
Rosell Road
Oakhurst Road to Joel Road over Buckhorn Creek in Rose Township is closed due to a deteriorating culvert. Residential access maintained east and west of the road closure. Detour is Oakhurst Road to Parker Road to Joel Road, back to Rosell Road and vice versa. Projected completion is TBD.
New roundabout
Intersection for Wixom Road, Wixom Trail, Duck Lake Road and Sleeth Road closed in Commerce Township and Milford Township for roundabout construction, asphalt paving, storm sewer installation, public lighting at the intersection, ADAcompliant pedestrian crosswalk on the east leg of the roundabout and new curbs and gutters. Detour is Glengary Road to Benstein Road to Sleeth Road to North Commerce Road to East Commerce Road and vice versa. Projected completion is Sept. 4.
I-94
In Macomb County, eastbound I-94 will have one lane open from Metro Parkway to North River Road from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday for resurfacing.
In Macomb County, westbound I-94 will have one lane open from Metro Parkway to North River Road from 7 a.m. Saturday through 5 p.m. Sunday for resurfacing.
In Macomb County, eastbound and westbound I-94 will have two lanes open at 23 Mile Road from 6 am.-7 p.m. Saturday.
In Wayne County, eastbound I-94 ramp to Vining will be closed until late September for paving.
Wayne Road ramp to westbound I-94 will be closed until 2027.
M-19
In Macomb County, northbound and southbound M-19/New Haven Road will be closed from 26 Mile to Gratiot until 8 p.m. Sunday for maintenance.
In Macomb County, southbound M-19/Gratiot at New Haven Road will have one lane open until 8 p.m. Sunday.
I-275
In Wayne County, northbound and southbound I-275 will be closed intermittently for 15 minute stoppages at River Road Drive, Sibley to Huron from 7-9 a.m. Saturday and 6-10 a.m. Sunday for utility work.
I-75
In Wayne County, southbound I-75 will be closed from Springwells to Schaefer until 5 a.m. Monday for bridge work.
In Wayne County, the following ramps on southbound I-75 will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday:
• Gordie Howe International Bridge to southbound I-75
• Ambassador Bridge to southbound I-75
• Vernor/I-75 Service Drive to southbound I-75
• Clark ramp to southbound I-75
• Springwells ramp to southbound I-75
• Dearborn Street ramp to southbound I-75
In Wayne County, southbound I-75 will have one lane open from M-10 to I-96 until 5 a.m. Monday. All ramps are open except M-5/Grand River ramp closed to southbound I-75 for paving.
In Wayne County, northbound I-75 will have two lanes open from Warren to I-94 from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday for bridge work.
In Wayne County, northbound and southbound I-75 will have one lane open with moving closures from Schaefer to Springwells from 9 p.m. Monday until 4 a.m. Tuesday for bridge work.

Sheldon ramp to westbound M-14 will be closed until late fall.
