A woman was seriously injured Friday night when a vehicle struck her in Fresno.
Officers with the Fresno Police Department responded to the incident just before 10 p.m. at Clinton and Brawley avenues. The officers found the woman with serious injuries.
Fresno Police Lt. Justin Hoagland said life-saving measures were administered before she was taken to the hospital in grave condition.
Hoagland said the driver remained on the scene and is cooperating. No impairment or criminal activity is suspected.
Witnesses told officers the vehicle was traveling east on Clinton at the speed limit when the pedestrian walked across Clinton, outside of the crosswalk when the crash occurred.
