Silver Alert issued for missing 76-year-old woman last seen in northwest Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Bakersfield Police Department for a missing 76-year-old woman.

CHP said 76-year-old Grace Garcia was last seen on August 31, 2026, at around 6:55 a.m., near Sovereign Drive and Royal Ascot Avenue in northwest Bakersfield.

Garcia is described as 4’10” tall, 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a white t-shirt, light blue jeans, and black shoes.

CHP said she is believed to be walking.
