Sacramento Police are investigating an assault reported in Lavender Heights early Sunday morning.
The department said officers responded near 20th and L streets around 1 a.m., where they came into contact with one victim who had minor injuries but may have lost consciousness.
Police said the suspects left the scene before officers arrived.
Police took a felony biased assault report based on comments the suspects allegedly made to the victim.
