Fresno County Library rolls out limited-edition Fresno Nightcrawler library cards

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — She is an icon. She is a legend. She is a moment.

We’re talking about the Fresno Nightcrawler.

Just last week, we told you about a Build-A-Bear Workshop selling a posable nightcrawler, which sold out right away.

The creature is a thing of lore, spotted on surveillance videos, looking like a pair of pants walking on their own.

Skeptic or not, Fresno Nightcrawlers are hot.

And the Fresno County Library is hoping to get in on the fun, with a limited edition library card.

Shout out to the library’s graphic design team.

County Librarian Sally Gomez says the library has looked for a way to bring the Fresno Nightcrawler into the library.

After all, it’s something that’s captured the imagination of so many people, just like the books in the libraries.

Whether you’re a believer or just want a fun conversation piece you can head into any of the Fresno County Library’s 33 branches and pick up a card this September — while supplies last.

So, why not use the card featuring a legend to read about legends?!?
