Paradies Lagardère has opened four retail concepts at San José Mineta International Airport (SJC), with a focus on local brands and Sense of Place.
The North American travel retailer and restaurateur opened The Goods @ SJC with Hip & Humble, Plaza de San José, Poppy’s Essentials and SJC Exchange in partnership with the airport.
The concepts combine travel essentials, local products, F&B and technology with products from brands and makers across San José and the wider Bay Area.
The Goods @ SJC with Hip & Humble combines travel essentials with gifts and accessories and marks Paradies Lagardère’s eighth location with the boutique.
Plaza de San José focuses on local products, gifts and travel essentials and features an iStore Express shop-in-shop. The technology offer includes products from Apple, Bose, Beats, JBL and Skullcandy.
Poppy’s Essentials offers grab-and-go F&B and travel essentials, with SJC Exchange featuring snacks, technology accessories and locally inspired merchandise.
Local brands across the new stores include Daybreak Vietnamese Coffee, Santa Clara ginger beer producer GingerLab and freeze-dried fruit snack brand Nokki Farm.
The retail offer also features smoodi machines, allowing travellers to make a fresh 16oz smoothie in one minute from a choice of six flavours.
