The first FIP Promises event on the US West Coast comes to a close with American Santiago Constantini and Argentine Vitto Benvenutto, the latter the leader of the FIP Promises Americas Under 14 Ranking, taking centre stage. At Park Padel in South San Francisco, the two young talents claimed both titles on offer, winning the Under 14 and Under 16 categories.
The number 1 seeds in the Under 14 category and number 2 seeds in Under 16, Constantini and Benvenutto progressed comfortably through draws featuring players from Mexico and Costa Rica, as well as the United States and Argentina. In the U14 tournament, after finishing the group stage unbeaten, they defeated Marco Antonio Diaz Leal Ferrer and Oliver Jaeger Dick in the final in a super tie-break (7-5 1-6 10-5).
In the U16 category, their perfect run continued through to the final, where Constantini and Benvenutto completed the double by defeating Alexson Watts and Willem Shpilsky (6-1 6-0).
