Every Friday, Union Square hosts a dance lesson followed by open dancing from 5 to 8 pm. The lessons rotate in dance style, featuring salsa, country western, swing, and more. The dance lessons are free and open to all ages. Plus, no dance experience is necessary, so it’s a great opportunity to try something new.
This Friday’s dance lesson will focus on salsa, with DJ JUANLOVE performing. You can also look forward to country dancing later in the month. Check out the schedule for the upcoming weeks:
September 4: Salsa with DJ JUANLOVE
September 11: Country Western with Sundance Saloon
September 25: Bollywood with Rang de Bollywood
October 2: Salsa with DJ JUANLOVE
October 9: Country Western with Sundance Saloon
October 16: Swing with the Silver Bell Jazz Band
Union Square also boasts numerous amenities, including a Kids Zone, tabletop games and craft supplies, and large games like ping pong, foosball, conhole, and more. Plus, mark your calendar for the Cinema On the Square, a monthly free movie series that started this summer. The next free screening is on September 26, featuring The Conversation.
