A man was shot in Sacramento Tuesday evening in a suspected drive-by shooting, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Police responded around 6:30 p.m. to reports of a shooting near Northgate Boulevard and Patio Avenue. Police located a man with at least one gunshot wound.
Police say he is in stable condition at an area hospital. The suspect fled before police arrived.
Roads are briefly closed in the area, but police say they will be reopening shortly.
