Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating an at-risk man who jumped out of a moving vehicle on the 23 Freeway in Thousand Oaks on Friday afternoon.
According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 7. Investigators said Brandon Page’s mother was driving when she noticed her son was becoming upset, so she began pulling to the side of the freeway.
Before the vehicle came to a complete stop, deputies said, Page jumped out while it was still traveling about 40 mph.
Deputies searched the area but were unable to find him. His current whereabouts and the extent of any injuries he may have suffered are unknown, officials said.

Authorities said Page has been diagnosed with PTSD and is not currently taking his prescribed medication.
Anyone who sees Page or knows where he might be is asked to contact Ventura County Sheriff’s Dispatch at 805-654-9511.
