FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno Falcons invited fans to Selland Arena on Tuesday for the unveiling of the arena’s new Jumbotron scoreboard, a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, and a chance for fans to pick out season-ticket seats.
The Fresno Falcons said the evening will bring together Mayor Jerry Dyer, the Falcons organization, Visit Fresno County and the City of Fresno as the organization marks “another major milestone in the return of professional hockey to Fresno.”

Activities began at 4 p.m., when fans were able to explore Selland Arena, view available season-ticket locations and connect with Falcons representatives as part of ‘Select Your Seat Night’.
The official program was set for 5:30 p.m. and included the scoreboard unveiling, ribbon cutting and media photo opportunities.
The event is described as a major step towards Opening Night on Friday, Oct. 9, at Selland Arena.
