A Tiburon man was arrested in Sausalito on allegations of driving intoxicated, hitting a bicyclist and taking off, police said.
The incident happened Monday night on Bridgeway near Dunphy Park, Sausalito police Capt. Brian Mather said. He said the cyclist suffered minor injuries and did not require immediate medical attention.
Police used surveillance camera footage to identify the vehicle, which they found later at its registered address.
Jacek Sochan, 66, was booked into the Marin County Jail and released Tuesday on a $50,000 bond, said Miguel Almaguer, a spokesperson for the Marin County Sheriff’s Office. Sochan could not be reached for comment.
