After the victim moved to the exit lane and ended up side by side with the black sedan, someone in the sedan opened fire, hitting the victim in the left shoulder, CHP said.
“The CHP’s Golden Gate Division Major Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting,” authorities said. “Investigators temporarily closed all westbound lanes of I-80 between Solano Avenue and Barrett Avenue at approximately 10:35 p.m. to search the roadway for evidence. All lanes reopened at approximately 10:56 p.m.”
