A man was shot Saturday afternoon at a home in Fresno.

Officers responded to the shooting at 2 p.m. on the 4700 block of West Berkeley Avenue, near Clinton and Milburn avenues.

Officers arrived and found a man with gunshot wounds to his lower body, legs, and right hand outside his home. Police said he was taken to a hospital and is listed in serious but stable condition.

Police said witnesses told officers two juveniles, thought to be 15 to 17 years old, started an argument with the victim before shots were fired.

Both suspects ran south on Lodi Avenue. Police said both suspects wore dark clothing.

Investigators are attempting to determine whether the shooting was gang-motivated.
