Shots fired near Sacramento State parking structure; stadium ordered to shelter in place

Sacramento State police are responding to a report of shots fired near Parking Structure 3, according to the Sacramento State Police Department.

Officials urged people to avoid the parking structure. The Hornet Stadium, which was amid a football game, was placed under a shelter-in-place order.

According to ABC10 sports anchor Kevin John, who is reporting on the game, there is currently no suspect has been apprehended, and no injuries have been reported, although officers found vehicles that had been struck by gunfire.

Sacramento State police said there is no ongoing threat. The situation remains under investigation.
