A man and a woman suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in Long Beach Sunday morning, authorities said.
Officers dispatched at about 3 a.m. Sunday to the 5700 block of Union Pacific Railroad regarding a shooting located a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body and a woman with gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed the two victims to a hospital, and the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
The motive and circumstances of the shooting were unknown and the investigation was ongoing.
