BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man accused of breaking into a building and stealing a personal check.
Bakersfield police said on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, at around 6:15 a.m., the man allegedly broke into a building in the 7100 block of Ming Avenue and took a personal check.
The suspect is described as a man, about 20 to 30 years old, and with a medium build.
He was wearing a dark colored shirt, khaki shorts, a black sleeve on his right arm, gloves, a gray shirt sleeve on his head, a medical mask covering his face, and white and black Nike shoes with black socks.
