1 shot, taken to hospital after argument in Sacramento County, sheriff says
A man was taken to the hospital after a shooting that followed an argument at a grocery store, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to a shooting in the roadway of the 7900 block of East Stockton Boulevard after 6 p.m. They found the man suffering from gunshot wounds and he was taken to a hospital in the area, where he is in critical condition.
Deputies later learned that prior to the shooting, an argument between two people began at the Sam’s Club located at Power Inn and Calvin Roads. The argument reportedly continued on to East Stockton Boulevard where the shooting took place.
The sheriff’s office said the suspect fled the scene and there is no information regarding them at this time.
