The San Diego Rodeo is returning to Petco Park in January for a fourth year.
The three-day event begins January 15th and will feature top rodeo athletes competing for 750-thousand-dollars in prize money.
The return comes amid continued animal welfare concerns after a pregnant horse died following the 2025 rodeo.
A Humane Society investigation found no legal violations, but a judge later ordered improved veterinary care and prohibited pregnant horses from competing. Tickets go on sale September 18th.
