A man died Saturday night after being stabbed near 47th Street and Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a call shortly after 9 p.m. and found the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Another man was detained, but it is currently unclear if they are related to the incident, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
