Livernois to Close for Bridge Repair Over Clinton River

Rochester Hills, MI – The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close the Livernois Road bridge over the Clinton River, just south of Avon Road in Rochester Hills, from Friday, Sept. 18 at 6 pm, through Monday, Sept. 21 at 6 am, for maintenance work.

            The maintenance work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled.

            Access to homes and businesses will be maintained north and south of the bridge.

            The detour for through traffic is Avon Road to Crooks Road to Hamlin Road, back to Livernois Road and vice versa. This section of Livernois Road carries approximately 30,800 vehicles daily.
