FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office donated to the family that lost an 11-year-old girl during a house fire.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Public Safety Foundation, the Fresno County Public Safety Association, and California Ag Solutions in Madera met with the family of Kayla Ledesma.
Kayla was killed in a house fire in Laton back in August.
Each organization provided donations to help the Ledesma-Cruz family during their time of need.
Fresno County Sheriff Community Service Officer Ross Martinez got to know Kayla this past school year, as she was one of his students enrolled in the Elementary School Safety Program.
