A woman is seriously injured after being run over in a Kearny Mesa parking lot.
San Diego Police say the 37-year-old was lying on the ground in front of a parked car at the Mercury Bookstore when the driver pulled away around 10:45 p.m. Friday.
The driver stopped after feeling the impact and discovered the woman on the ground. She was hospitalized with multiple fractures.
Police say DUI was not a factor.
