BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern Secret Witness is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the apprehension Gurinder Singh. Singh is accused of shooting and killing a man in southeast Bakersfield on New Year’s Day in 2025.
According to Bakersfield police, on January 1st, 2025, Singh was allegedly involved in a workplace dispute in Bakersfield resulting in the deadly shooting of his coworker and extended family member, Jatinder Singh.
Police said Gurinder Singh left after the shooting and has not been found.

A warrant for his arrest on suspicion of murder was issued on February 19th, 2025.
In a release, it said Singh previously worked as a convenience store and gas station clerk.

At the time of the homicide, he was employed as a commercial truck driver and possessed a California commercial driver’s license.
BPS said investigators believe he may be using a new identity or identification belonging to an associate.
Singh has several identifying tattoos, including “DHINDSA” on his right forearm, a Khanda symbol on his upper right arm, and a semi-truck with trailer on his left forearm.

He should be considered armed. Do not attempt to contact or apprehend him.
