A man suffered non-life threatening stab wounds during an alleged attack by two suspects in the Westside community of Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
Officers were initially dispatched about 12:05 a.m. to a hospital regarding a stabbing, the Long Beach Police Department.
“Upon arrival, officers contacted a male adult victim with non-life-threatening stab wounds to the upper body,” according to a police statement. “Officers located the crime scene in the 1100 block of Fashion Avenue.”
An investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a fight with two men and was stabbed several times during the altercation.
The investigation is ongoing.
