Wible Road to close Sept. 15-17 between Brundage Lane and Belle Terrace

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Drivers in Bakersfield should plan for a three-day road closure on Wible Road as crews work in the area this week.

Wible Road is set to be closed from Tuesday, Sept. 15, until Thursday, Sept. 17, between Brundage Lane and Belle Terrace, according to the City of Bakersfield. The closure will be in place from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Crews will remove the walkway barrier in the area. Drivers will be detoured to Real Road, and drivers are advised to use alternate routes during the closure.

The city said construction work may be postponed and rescheduled without notice due to inclement weather and other unforeseen conditions.
