Rancho Cordova has begun traffic-calming construction on Borderlands Drive and Canyonlands Drive in the Sunridge Park neighborhood, adding speed lumps, bicycle lanes, high-visibility crosswalks, curb extensions and curb islands. Crews will work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and both streets will be resurfaced as part of the project. The work is expected to wrap in December, with similar measures set to begin in October on White Rock Road between Mather Field Road and Mills Park Drive.
