Riding their longest winning streak since the 2023 season (5), the California Golden Bears (7-1) are set to take another short trip within the state on Wednesday. They are set to face off against an extremely talented UC Davis (3-5) squad that has made some headlines this season.
The Bears are coming off of a 2-0 weekend at the Santa Clara Mission Classic that saw them take down both San Diego State and Santa Clara. Cal continues to get strong showings from freshmen outside hitter Abby Zimmerman, who was named Player of the Match against San Diego State, and setter Anna Flores, who has racked up nearly 400 assists this season.
As for the Aggies, they are surely hanging their hats on an upset win over No. 7 Arizona State, and taking No. 5 SMU to five sets.
