Sentencing was handed down in federal court in Detroit on Tuesday for a former doctor from Farmington Hills who admitted to receiving child pornography.
Lincoln Duvall Erickson, 32, will spend 108 months in prison for a federal charge of receipt of child pornography, as sentenced by Judge Terrence Berg.
Erickson was arrested by FBI agents last December. On May 20, he pleaded guilty to the felony charge.
According to the Department of Justice, Erickson was a medical resident at a public university and worked in the Detroit metropolitan area. FBI agents found Erickson’s cell phone videos of minors engaged in sex acts and AI-generated pornography depicting nude children touching adult men, court records state.
The pornography was transported in interstate commerce using Erickson’s iPhone and Telegram app, court records state.
Erickson also tried to convince a man to allow Erickson to bathe the man’s children and made plans to travel to the man’s house to do so, court records state.
