FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in central Fresno late Wednesday night.
Police were called to the area of Palm and Shields for a shooting around 11 pm.
Officers arrived and found the woman with a gunshot wound. She was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators say they are currently calling it a death investigation rather than a homicide investigation.
