It was a beautiful weekend in Central California, but get prepared for a series of storms in the area this week.
From Tuesday to Wednesday, multiple feet of snow are forecast for Yosemite National Park, Huntington Lake and Shaver Lake. Some of the Foothill communities could get a few inches of snow as well.
Expect high temperatures to remain in the 50’s all week across Central California before beginning to dry out on Friday.

The warming centers are free and open to anyone looking to escape the frigid conditions and keep warm.
Those locations can be found at Ted C. Wills, Mosqueda, and Maxie L. Park Community Centers.

Low-level snow is drawing a crowd in the Foothill communities.

Yosemite National Park closed due to heavy snowfall, fallen trees
Yosemite National Park will be closed through Friday due to heavy snowfall and falling trees, according to the park’s website.
Visitors with lodging reservations can still enter the park through the Highway 140 (Arch Rock) entrance.
