NorCal forecast: Sunshine and warmer temps return for the weekend
Temperatures will go from cool to warm back to mild again over the next few days in Northern California.
Enjoy a big temperature jump today with mostly clear skies, light winds and plenty of sunshine.
More clouds will bring cooler temperatures again Sunday, but in all, the weekend will be pleasant and comfortable.
Quiet weather will continue next week, with the temperature swinging back up by the middle of next week.
Friday forecast
A cool start to Friday will turn into a warmer end as sunshine returns.
A light north wind will bump valley temperatures back into the upper 80s.
Friday evening forecast
The week will also end with a warmer Friday evening under clear skies.
Winds remain light and temperatures don’t get chilly again until late evening.
Weekend forecast
The weekend will remain dry and mostly sunny.
Saturday will be slightly warmer, with highs reaching the low 90s.
An incoming weather system will increase clouds and bring a modest cooldown Sunday along with the return of onshore breezes
Temperature rollercoaster continues
The Fall Equinox is next Tuesday and marks the official start of the Fall season.
However, our Fall temperature roller coaster will be on a climb as we start the new season with temperatures climbing into the 90s for a few days by the middle of next week!
Foothills & Sierra 7 day forecast
The temperature swings won’t be as noticeable in the foothills and Sierra outside of the Delta Breeze influence.
The next week will be mild and quiet with the occasional breeze in the Sierra.
Valley 7 day forecast
In the valley, temperatures will range from mid 80s to mid 90s as the Delta Breeze ebbs and flows depending on which weather system is overhead.
