Seen here are the newly installed members of the board of directors of the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Juni Bianco, past president of the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce, swore in the 2026-27 board members during a ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 10.
The event was held at the Seal Beach Yacht Club and included city officials, business owners, and members of the Seal Beach Lions Club.
Retiring Chamber Vice President Deborah Bell received the 2026 Esther Kenyon Heart of the Chamber Award. Nikki Muller, of It Takes a Village Senior Care, was named volunteer of the year. Muller is one of the 2026-27 directors and president of the Seal Beach Lions Club.
Daren DeLeon of Nashville on the Coast, another past Chamber president, was named 2026 Business Person of the Year. Cheryl Loofburrow was named 2026 Ambassador of the Year. Janine Shedlock of Beach City Realty received the Business of the Year award. The Chamber also honored retiring 2025-26 President Richie Barnes. New Chamber President John Osborne of Alamitos Eye Care, who is also a member of the Seal Beach Lions Club board, gave the closing remarks.
District Three Councilwoman/Mayor Lisa Landau gave the opening remarks. She got a laugh when she described her son Cody as her “favorite staff member.” (Note: Seal Beach council members don’t have staff of their own.)
As previously reported, the Chamber 2026-27 executive committee members are Chamber President Osborne, Vice President (and District One City Council candidate) Perla Mendoza of Project Eli, Secretary Karen Kuns of Park Lane Jewelry, Treasurer Frank Carvajal of American Beachside Brokers.

Robles is the city government’s liason with the Chamber.
