A national retailer that sells scrubs, lab coats and other clothing for medical professionals is closing stores across the country.
Scrubs & Beyond announced it is closing all of its retail locations nationwide, including one in Fresno.
The company did not offer an explanation for the closures, and its customer service line was disconnected as of Thursday, Sept. 17.

What is Scrubs & Beyond?
Scrubs & Beyond, which has been in business for more than 20 years, advertises itself as the “largest retailer of healthcare apparel and accessories in the country.”
The company said it acquired Uniform City and Life Uniform in 2013.
In addition to online sales, Scrubs & Beyond has more than 100 physical locations in 30 states, Fast Company reported.
That includes nine stores in California.
Where is medical clothing store closing in Fresno?
Scrubs & Beyond has one store in Fresno, at 343 East Shaw Ave. in the Mission Village shopping center.
Fresno store representatives were not available for comment as of Thursday.
Scrubs & Beyond stores in Sacramento and Modesto are also slated to shut their doors.
What’s on sale at Shaw Avenue business?
Scrubs & Beyond said it’s offering shutdown sale discounts of 30% to 40% on “everything in our retail stores nationwide.”
“These discounts are available in-story only,” the retailer said on its website, and all sales are final.
